Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous franchise Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California aged 55.
His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, as reported by.
"We are facing a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts said.
